Poll Result

We posted on the Winterslow Village Group Facebook page recently to involve the local community in choosing the name for our latest development on West Dean Road in West Tytherley, where we are constructing twelve family homes.

When choosing a marketing name for one of our developments we like to research the local area to help us to decide on a name that has a true connection to where we are building.

We suggested 3 names that we felt had that connection and conducted a Facebook poll.  We were delighted with the response, including the two alternatives that some of the villagers suggested.

The top choice, by an overwhelming majority, was Emperor's Copse. A nod to Bentley Wood, close to our scheme, nationally recognised due to its diverse butterfly population and where Purple Emperors can be seen. We have been working with our marketing agent, Oyster, to design the logo pictured here.
