Hazeley goes the extra mile
Access and parking are often difficult issues in housing developments, especially in older communities where town plans didn't take account of today's vehicle numbers! Selborne residents experience these issues on a daily basis. Whilst working on our Southbrook development it became apparent to our team the extent of these issues and we saw an opportunity to help! Hazeley offered to resurface and extend the community car park as a gesture to local people for their patience during the development process.
Today we were delighted to receive this note from the Chairman of the Selborne Rec Committee:
"On behalf of all the Rec Committee, the football tournament organisers, and the Play Group. I would like to express our thanks for an excellent job done on the car park extension and for the invaluable use of the Heras panel fencing, in saving many footballs!
The commitment & enthusiasm of yourself and the site team has been very commendable, and the safety and consideration given by your operatives when constructing the car park couldn't have been bettered.
We also appreciate all the other sundry items you have helped with since your commencement.
Best wishes for the rest of the time you spend working in Selborne."
Hazeley always works hard to minimise the disruption a development can cause to the local community. We are delighted to hear that going the extra mile has made all the difference to the Selborne community and they will continue to reap the benefits long after our build project has finished.
